When employees connect their LinkedIn account, we process their professional connections to match candidates with open roles. We do not store LinkedIn passwords or access private messages.
Usage data
We collect information about how you use our platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product.
How we use your data
- Candidate matching: We use AI to match candidates from employee networks against open vacancies.
- Communication: We send notifications about matches, nudges, and platform updates.
- Analytics: We analyze usage patterns to improve our product and service.
- Legal compliance: We process data as required by law, including GDPR obligations.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Your employer: Recruiters at your company can see candidates matched from your network (with your consent).
- Service providers: We use sub-processors for hosting (Vercel, Neon), analytics (PostHog), and communication (email providers).
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you or your company terminates the relationship with Wintro, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict processing of your data
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
